Our distilleries produce a specialised grade of alcohol known as Grain Neutral Alcohol or ENA at 96% ABV for use exclusively in the beverage industry. All the grain neutral alcohol produced by Globus Spirits is made from locally sourced grains. At each of our locations, we use the help of seven successive distillation columns in perfect vacuum to produce an award winning Neutral Alcohol that is preferred by Master Distillers around the world.

Derived from renewable resources such as wheat or corn, bioethanol comes with definite advantages over traditional or fossil fuels. A high-octane fuel that has replaced lead as an octane enhancer in petrol, it is often used as an adjunct fuel to petrol in order to help reduce emissions in motor vehicles. At Globus Spirits, we have enabled multiple locations to produce bioethanol through a molecular dehydration process.

Fusel oil is a mixture of multiple higher grades of alcohol. It is found when fermentation occurs at a high temperature, lower pH, and when yeast activity is limited by lower nitrogen content. Fusel oil is primarily used as a solvent for the paint base industry. Other applications include manufacturing for aerobatics extract and liquid fuel. The components of fusel oil are 63% Iso alcohol, 2-methyl-1-dutanol, Iso butyl alcohol, and 1-propanol.
